Coastal Maine

Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them. John 7:38

Hello dear friends! Wow the Lord woke me up early today. As I started my morning with coffee and prayer, the Lord told me to look at Isaiah 55. In one of my bibles, this chapter is titled The Everlasting Salvation. I know that I want that everlasting salvation. I read through this chapter and so many of the versus spoke to my heart. In this chapter God reminded me of his hope.

The first verse in the chapter begins

Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters

I too, like you I am sure, have things that weigh heavy on my heart. Personal struggles, heartbreak for loved ones, nightly news, and world events, but when we filter these against the word of God, we know that our hope does not come from what is going on around us, but by the work that Jesus Christ does in our life.

This week God has given me the word Flow. For me it is, ease and gentleness, like water that slips through the hand. Neither grasping nor holding tight.

If I have tears today

Let them flow

Let me not sit and hold on to my pain and fear but

Let it flow into your loving hands

The one who scriptures say will wipe every tear

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. Rev 21:4

If I have Love today

Let it flow

Let me not keep it to myself but

Let it flow to all I meet

So, others may know of God’s great Love

Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 1 John 4:11

If I have Grace today

Let it flow

Let me not forget your abounding Grace

Let it flow to forgive others as I have been forgiven

The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. 1 Tim 1:14

Colossians 3:2 tells us, Set your mind on things that are above, not on things that are on the earth.

On a recent vacation to Maine, we saw examples of God’s handiwork. Costal Maine was stunning, and its shores were fun to explore. I am so in awe of the beauty of God’s creation and blessed to read his word filled with his promises. Setting my mind on God and what his word says, brings healing, love, and grace. May these flow to you today!!

Enjoy these beautiful coastal pictures from Maine! XOXO
